Day 1: Arrival to Bucharest, Romania. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 2: Travel to Tulcea for the Danube Delta Nature Resort - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sunset boat trip along meandering channels of the Danube Delta and overlooking the Somovo Lake at night. Overnight stay at the Delta Nature Resort.
Day 3: Boat trip to the Soan Monastery, built in 1846 - this religious retreat includes an organic farm on the banks of picturesque Lake Parcheş. On return, via Delta channels teaming with dozens of species of birds, including the largest colony of white pelicans in Europe. Overnight stay at the Delta Nature Resort.
Day 4: Explore the main channels and lakes of the Danube Delta while fishing for carp, catfish, zander and perch. Hear the call of an egret, spot a group of pelicans or catch sight of other rare species, such as the pygmy cormorant or the red-breasted goose. In the afternoon, visit the Danube Delta Natural History Museum in Tulcea. Overnight stay at Tulcea.
Day 5: Tavel to Bucharest. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6: Visit the Palace of the Parliament, Romanian Athenaeum, National Museum of Art of Romania, Stavropoleos Monastery, Mogoșoaia Palace. Overnight stay in Bucharest.
Day 7: Travel to Brasov via Sinaia – Visit the Peles Castle in Sinaia, Bran Castle in Predeal and a visit to the picturesque town of Brasov. Explore Tampa cable car that can take to the peak of the Tampa mountain to enjoy the city views. Enjoy the Town Hall Square and the Black Church - the largest Gothic church in Romania or visit one of the Narrowest streets in Europe – Rope Street. Overnight stay in Brasov.
Day 8: Trip to Prejmer to visit the villages with fortified churches - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay in Brasov.
Day 9: Trip to Sibiu - Visit Brukenthal National Museum, Sibiu Lutheran Cathedral, The Bridge of Lies. Overnight stay in Brasov.
Day 10: Trip to Sighisoara - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - Visit Historic Centre of Sighișoara (Singhisoara Citadel), Sighișoara Clock Tower. Overnight stay in Brasov.
Day 11: Travel to Cluj - On the way, visit the Salina Turda (Turda Salt Mine) - the COOLEST UNDERGROUND PLACE ON EARTH - unique attraction at 120 metres (400 feet) underground, featuring an amphi-theatre that hosts concerts, a Ferris wheel and several playgrounds. Overnight stay in Cluj.
Day 12: Walking Tour - Visit Avram Iancu Square, Orthodox Cathedral (Assumption Cathedral), Statue of Avram Iancu, the Cluj-Napoca National Theatre, Cluj-Napoca Romanian Opera House, the Eroilor Boulevard, the Unirii Square, St. Michael Gothic church, and the Matthias Corvinus monument. In the evening, travel to Bucharest and overnight stay.
