Day 1: Arrival to Damascus, Syria. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 2: Visit the National Museum of Damascus - Large collection of ancient Syrian and classical antiquities, and then visit the Umayyad Mosque, Sayyidah Ruqayya Mosque, Azem Palace. Overnight stay in Damascus.
Day 3: Visit the Citadel of Damascus, Khan As'ad Pasha, Al-Hamidiyah Souq, Mausoleum of Saladin. At sunset, visit Mount Qasioun for the panoramic views of the city. Overnight stay in Damascus.
Day 4: Travel to Latakia. On the way visit Krak des Chevaliers and Cathedral of Tartus. Overnight stay in Latakia.
Day 5: Travel to Aleppo via the Citadel of Saladin. Overnight stay in Aleppo.
Day 6: Visit Al-Saffahiyah Mosque, Khan Al Wazir Caravanserai, Citadel of Aleppo, Great Mosque of Aleppo (Great Umayyad Mosque), National Museum of Aleppo, Syriac Catholic Church. Overnight stay in Aleppo.
Day 7: Visit Hama- Enormous 90-foot waterwheels (Noriahs), which have scooped water from the Orontes River and poured it into irrigation canals for millenniums. Travel through the middle of the Syrian Desert to Palmyra and overnight stay.
Day 8: Visit the Palmyra Museum, Temple of Bel and the mile long colonnaded street and the Monumental Arch of Triumph of Palmyra. Visit the Arab castle citadel of Fakhereddin Al Ma’an built in the 16th century for spectacular views of Palmyra at sunset. Overnight stay in Palmyra.
Day 9: Visit Baalbek in Lebanon. - Largest and finest examples of Roman architecture in the world. The Temple of Bacchus is the best-preserved Roman temple. Travel to Damascus and overnight stay.
Day 10: Departure from Damascus, Syria.
