PERU - 15 NIGHTS / 16 DAYS

 

Day 1: Arrival to Lima, Peru. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay in Lima.


 

Day 2: Visit the Plaza Mayor Main square, Cathedral of Lima, Archbishop's Palace, Casa del Oidor, Palacio del Gobierno, Casa de Aliaga, Jiron de la Union. Stay overnight in Lima.


 

Day 3: Visit Convento de San Francisco, Santo Domingo Church and Monastery, Museo Nacional de Arqueología, Antropología, e Historia, Huaca Pucllana - Great Pyramid, Miraflores Neighborhood. Stay overnight in Lima.


 

Day 5: Travel to Nazca – Enjoy Peru’s Nazca Lines - UNESCO World Heritage Site - carved in the desert by the Nazca people. Hundreds of massive lines shaped like animals, birds, geometric figures, pagan gods, and even an astronaut, extend for countless miles throughout the remote Peruvian desert. Stay overnight in Nazca.

Day 6: Travel to Huacachina – Visit Tiny village - an oasis in the middle of gigantic sand-dunes in the Peruvian desert. Enjoy Dune Buggy ride, sand boarding, boating or take a stroll around town. Also visit to Ica and enjoy Brandy-Like Spirit, made from white grapes in Pisco industries - National Beverage of the country. Travel to Arequipa.

 

Day 4: Travel to Paracas – Embark on an Isla Ballestas Island Tour by speed boat. The islands are famous for its very own Nazca Lines called Candelabra Geoglyph - 150m high and 50m wide, and their abundant wildlife. Enjoy thousands of birds and mammals, including Peruvian boobies, penguins, sea lions, pink-footed cormorants, Incan terns, star fish and pelicans. Stay overnight in Paracas.





 

Day 7: Visit the Plaza de Armas Main Square, Basilica Cathedral of Arequipa, Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena, Arequipa. Overnight stay in Arequipa.


Day 9: Visit the Iglesia de la Compania, Museo Santuarios Andinos Museum, Yanahuara District. Travel to Cusco.

 

Day 8: Day trip to Colca Canyon – Visit the Yanque town, Antahuilque and the Choquetico Tombs. Then later Visit Mirador Cruz Del Condor to observe the magnitude of the Colca canyon. On retrn, visit the highest point between Colca Canyon and Arequipa – Patapampa (4800m). Overnight stay in Arequipa.



Day 11: Day trip to Machu Pichu by train journey to Aguas Calientes - visit the Macchu Picchu. Overnight stay in Cuzco.

Day 12: Visit the Museo de Arte Precolombino, Cusco Cathedral, Plaza De Armas, San Pedro Market. Overnight stay in Cuzco.

Day 10: Visit the Coricancha – Ruins of Inca temple, Sacsayhuamán – Inca Complex known for its stone walls, Puka Pukara - Ruins of fort, Tambomachay- Inca site with canals, waterfalls and aqueducts. Overnight stay in Cusco.




 

Day 13: Travel to Puno – Visit the Puno Cathedral, Pino Park, Yavari museum. Overnight stay in Puno.

Day 14: Day trip to Uros floating islands and Taquile Islands. Overnight stay in Puno.



 

Day 15: Travel to Cuzco. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Cuzco.

Day 16: Departure from Cuzco, Peru.
